While traveling up and down Michigan following my father who was racing in a 500 mile bike race called the Del Mac, we stopped at our cottage in Bay View, which is near Petoskey. I had never been there during the fall so it was an interesting experience to see everything beginning to shut down for the winter. As we were driving past the park to go the Bistro in town, The storm began to break right over the Petoskey Pier, which you can see silhouetted in the picture. I jumped out the car and began shooting.
